The iPhone OS 2.0 and App Store access are also standard on the 2nd Generation iPod Touch. Along with the new changes, Apple also increased the iPod Touch battery life, giving it 36 hours of audio battery life, and 6 hours of video viewing. Third Generation iPod TouchThe Third Generation iPod Touch was released on September 9th 2009 and comes available in either a 8GB, 16GB or a 32GB iPod Touch and features the new iPhone 3.1 operating system. The Third Generation iPod Touch has the same microprocessor as the iPhone 3GS and has all the goodies you would expect from this quality of MP3 player.
